The Seven Day Strategy For Website Traffic

Success in internet marketing, whatever niche you may be operating in, is largely determined by the amount of traffic you get to your site. Therefore I am going to outline my proven strategic plan for getting large amounts of traffic to your site. Implementing this seven day strategic plan will guarantee great traffic.

Day One: A proven and necessary long term strategy is article marketing. Writing articles is a fundamental key to your long term success. Although intimidating at first, you must persevere and commit yourself to writing at least five articles per week and submitting them to article directories. This particular strategy will give you traffic over a long period as the articles remain on the various article directory sites and can be accessed by people looking for information and content, even years later. My recommendation is to submit to EzineArticles.com and about five others. I mention EzineArticles because they are the biggest and the best. You can choose others from the many hundreds of article directories that are available.

Day Two: A second important strategy is to write some classified advertisements and post them on some selected ad directories. There are a lot to choose from but one I always use is USFreedAds.com and then choose two or three others for my advertisements. Costs are very reasonable and you are sure to get substantial traffic if you write good ads.

Day Three: People often shudder when I mention this one - writing press releases. This strategy is closely aligned to writing articles. The difference here lies in style and presentation. If you are uncertain about this area then do a Google search on how to write press releases and learn from what you find. I would recommend doing this about once a month.

Day Four: A lesser known strategy, but a very valuable one is to submit to the leading slide directories. All you need to do is create a slide presentation,making sure that your slides are rich in keywords relating to your market niche. This is simple to do and you can repeat it as often as you like.

Day Five: Participating in online forums is the next important traffic strategy. You need to identify the key forums associated with your market niche. Once you have joined up you are then free to participate and you can either make your own forum posts, ensuring that your posts are keyword rich, or you can reply to posts, again ensuring that your posts are keyword rich. A word of advice though;
don't over do it, start off slowly, build your credibility and after a while you will start to get some good traffic.

Day Six: A sixth important strategy is to get your links on to all the social bookmarking sites. There are, of course, many of them and you need to have a way of simplifying the process. I have found that the services of OnlyWire.com are very helpful in this regard. The social bookmarking sites are a great way to get free community traffic.

Day Seven: A tried and trusted strategy is to obtain some Pay-Per-Click traffic. Best results are obtained if you confine yourself to the major search engines - Google, Yahoo and MSN. It takes a little practice to make your ads are effective but the results can be really worth it and, what is more, speedy as well.

If you put this strategic plan into effect over seven days you are guaranteed to get a substantial stream of traffic to your web site.
