Traffic Building - How to Use Message Boards and Blogs in Traffic Generation

Traffic generation is all about links, and you can easily build up your links around the internet by using message boards and blogs. The obvious ways to drive traffic to your site using message boards is the same as using email-have your website link in every signature and on every site. But there are other ways to use these sites as well.

No matter what you niche market may be, you are going to find dozens or even hundreds of well-used related message boards. Posting to these message boards often will expose you and your site to many more people. If the message boards have a high page rank and are often indexed in the search engines, you will discover that your link gets many more views each day than just those from registered members of the site.

Blogs can help you in much the same way. You can create an account on WordPress, Blogspot, Twitter, and other blog networks and be allowed to post comments. You can easily search the hosting site or networks for blogs fitting your expertise or niche, and then post comments to those blogs. For a small fee or a simple link exchange you may even be able to get an author to post your link in the text of the their blog posts.

The real key to traffic generation is to get your link posted to as many websites as possible and as often as possible. When you do this you will generate a lot of traffic to your site, and eventually you will have enough links that you can focus on other marketing efforts.
