You want to be a little fish in a big pond and not a big fish in a kiddy pool. Don't make the mistake of thinking that you will be the one to crack that market and make a fortune in it.

Make sure people are spending money on other sites in your market.

Secret #2:

Make sure people are spending money in your market on stuff they have to keep buying. The best types of markets are the ones where people buy stuff again and again. The reason is, you want to get a piece of that as well. And if you know people buy stuff on a monthly basis in that market, then you know that the market has money in it.

Focus on markets where money is being spent on expensive stuff & where the same people are buying stuff month after month. That is the market you want to be in.
