Secret #1:
Stop trying to attract website traffic that is looking for free stuff. The problem most people make with their marketing is that they are so desperate to get traffic they will do anything to make it happen.
So what commonly happens is you will offer free reports and free ebooks. This is a great idea but when you spend your time marketing your "free" stuff, you attract people who are into getting free stuff.
It is the same thing as going to free seminars on investing or marketing. Most of the people at those seminars are just freebee seekers looking for scraps of information that they can use.
Secret #2:
Give something away of value that not everyone else does. Don't offer free ebooks and reports. This does not add value to you or your customers. You need to give away free videos and CD's. But don't focus on the "free" part of it.
Focus on the transformation that they will get and how valuable it is. If you do this, the right people will start taking your offers and buy a lot of your paid stuff.
