The big craze these days is web 2.0 traffic, but the reality is this - it is not the best traffic you can get to your website and actually can put you out of business before you even get any sales. Reason #1 Why You Should Stay Away...

It is all built on companies! The problem is, what do you do when one Web 2.0 site is now not popular anymore and everyone moves to another site? You have to rebuild your business on that other site.

That is a lot of work. Just focus on the Web 1.0 traffic strategies that are proven to make you rich and then when you have a lot of money coming in - focus on the other stuff.

There is very little proof that Web 2.0 traffic actually makes money for anyone but people teaching you how to make money off it. Think about it for a second...

Some of the biggest Web 2.0 sites are still raising investor money to keep them going while they try and figure out how make money at it. If the actual company you want to base your business model on can't make money yet - why are you trying to make money off it?

Just focus on the traffic strategies that have been proven to work year after year. Then once you have time and a lot of money on your hand - try the Web 2.0 stuff.
